Bridging the Law Enforcement/Advocate Gap.

Law enforcement officers and victim advocates come to the criminal justice system with different expectations, roles and objectives-differences that may sometimes cause friction or mistrust. This workshop will provide a greater understanding of the realities of today's law enforcement and share insight into developing collaborative relationships between these two entities. This 3-hour class includes an insightful discussion about gender conflicts and a discussion with the audience about successes and failures in bridging the gap.
