Sponsorship FAQ's

How will these funds be used?

The funds from WCCVA's sponsorship program will be used for program and activity costs that further WCCVA's mission to strengthen crime victim rights and improve crime victim services statewide.  Our website gives substantial information about our programs and activities.

Can I specify how these funds will be used?

WCCVA's sponsorship program does not allow sponsor to designate specifically how the funds will be spent at this time.  If you would like to donate funds for a specific purpose, such as to start an emergency fund for crime victims, to provide a fund for crime scene cleanup for victims, etc., please contact us directly.  We would be happy to facilitate setting up such a fund separate from our sponsorship program.

Are my sponsorship dollars tax deductible?

Yes!  WCCVA is a 501(c)(3) organization and your sponsorship is tax deductible.

How long is my sponsorship good for?

Your sponsorship is good for one year from the time we receive your sponsorship.  For example, if you sponsor WCCVA on November 13, 2011, your sponsorship and its benefits to you would last until November 12, 2012.

May I Donate Goods or Services for Sponsorship?

In-Kind donations may be acceptable in lieu of cash payment for sponsorship.  Please contact us to discuss what goods or services you might be willing to donate in exchange for recognition as a sponsor.
