The 30 Hour Pre-Service Advocacy Training must be completed before a staff member or volunteer of a Crime Victim Service Center responds to a victim of crime. The content of this course will focus on the fundamental skills of advocacy and working with victims of crime, saving crime-specific advocacy tips and other advanced topics for training during the advocate’s first year of service.

This is a 30-hour pre-advocate qualification course required by the Standards Manual for the Crime Victim Service Centers published by the Washington State Office of Crime Victims Advocacy.
Fee (non-refundable): WCCVA MEMBERS- $50.00
NON-MEMBERS - $100.00
WCCVA will provide beverages and a mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. Lunch is on your own and your agency must provide travel, lodging, and other per diem expenses.
